Good News!
It’s time we learn how to take care of ourselves.
Background
For my Senior Capstone project, I designed a workbook subscription that is different from the rest - one that does not just provide the user with information to help, but physical sources of implementing these practices within their life, while staying cohesive to the subjects within. I believe in order to learn something - through the trials and tribulations of life within ourselves, personal experience is crucial. It provides us with information about ourselves that may not be as apparent to us in the moment, but revisiting these situations and asking questions to better understand ourselves is crucial for learning and growth. Thus, Good News was born from these ideals.
*Due to copyright issues in the past, Good News is currently unavailable as a digital workbook. Once it is published, the digital source will be posted once again*
In order for the person wanting to utilize this workbook as a resource and tool, I wanted it to remain personable and custom to them.

Deliverables
visual identity, workbook, cards, poster, stickers, tracker sheets, packaging, custom pencil case and custom engraved pens
Final Deliverables
Good News utilizes concepts of practices within Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Social Cognitive Theory, Expressive Art Therapy tactics, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
This is an example of what one of the sticker sheets would look like to be utilized for tracking night and morning routines, while additionally showing how a person feels during that given time frame. The page in the workbook also provides a space to explain why one is feeling a certain way and lists questions to find the deeper meaning behind it.
Typically, we find ourselves feeling a certain way without ever trying to understand it, which is important in learning who we are as humans and how we don't need to be so hard on ourselves due to the external factors surrounding us.
Each section of good news introduces a new way of thinking - offering perspective that is a bit more objective than what we're use to. each section counts as one "pillar" of self-care - there are 12 pillars of self-care which are found within this book.
Sample of Pages
The introduction of good news begins with a *suggested* supplies list to utilize this workbook to the fullest extent & emphasizes the concept of art therapy and allowing space for one to be self-expressive.
Because good news would act as a subscription packaged with multiple tools and resources, i wanted to add a sense of fun to taking care of oneself, which is why each sticker provided, is found within each of the 12 pillars - serving as external reminders to take care of ourselves.
